Bloody Silence

Her eyes, unnaturally wide abysses,
exaggerated by the shaking figments
reflected in the charcoal pupils
aimed across the room; a loaded barrel.
A flicker of arrogant simplicity
grazes the corner of her sight
and she focuses harder, burning
venom into the opposite wall
hoping it’ll reflect onto his carcass,
tarnished girls tarnish.
A tooth pierces her tongue
as his smirk pierces her
ego. Bloody silence.
